Pimpri Chinchwad Police List 91 Noise-Pollution Cases During Ganeshotsav

Pimpri Chinchwad, 26th September 2026: Pimpri Chinchwad police have listed 91 noise-pollution cases connected with Ganeshotsav between September 14 and September 26. Also, 86 seized items were seized.

Zone 2 recorded the highest number of cases, at 44, with 44 seized items. Zone 1 recorded 29 cases and 28 seized items; Zone 3 recorded eight cases and eight seized items; and Zone 4 recorded 10 cases and six seized items.

Among individual police stations, Wakad accounted for 22 entries, followed by Sangvi with 15, Bavdhan with 11 and Kalewadi with 10. The station-wise list marks one Talegaon MIDC entry dated September 26 as still being registered. It does not provide details of the alleged violations, the people involved or the legal provisions applied.

Zone 1 recorded 29 noise-pollution cases and 28 seizures. Nigdi police registered seven cases, Chinchwad one, Pimpri two, Sangvi 15, Sant Tukaram Nagar one and Dapodi three. The document records no seized property in the Sant Tukaram Nagar case.

Zone 2 recorded 44 cases and 44 seizures. Bavdhan police registered 11 cases, Kalewadi 10, Hinjawadi one and Wakad 22. Wakad had the highest number of cases among the police stations listed.

Zone 3 recorded eight cases and eight seizures. Bhosari MIDC police registered two cases, Bhosari police five and Chakan South police one.

Zone 4 listed 10 cases and six seizures. Talegaon Dabhade police registered five cases, Talegaon MIDC listed two, South Mahalunge MIDC one and Shirgaon two. The document says property was yet to be seized in three Talegaon Dabhade cases.
