Pune-Hadapsar Yard Work: Major Changes in Train Operations on October 3-4; Several Trains Diverted, Cancelled

Pune, 2nd October 2026: Several train services will be diverted, cancelled, short-terminated or short-originated on October 3 and 4 in connection with the ongoing Pre-Non-Interlocking (Pre-NI) and Non-Interlocking (NI) work at Pune and Hadapsar yards for commissioning of the Hadapsar-Ghorpadi Third Line.

The revised changes in train operations have been notified by Central Railway’s Pune Division. The changes apply to trains with Journey Commencing On (JCO) dates of October 3 and 4, 2026.

Several trains to run on diverted routes

A number of long-distance trains will operate through alternative routes, with several scheduled halts being skipped.

On October 3, Train No. 12164 MAS-LTT Express will run via Solapur, Daund, Ahilyanagar, Manmad, Igatpuri and Kalyan, skipping Pune and Lonavala.

Train Nos. 12221 PUNE-HWH and 12222 HWH-PUNE Express will run via Lonavala, Karjat, Panvel, Kalyan, Igatpuri and Manmad in the respective directions, with DDCC halt skipped.

Train No. 12780 NZM-VSG Express and Train No. 22686 CDG-YPR Express will run via Manmad, Kashti, Daund, Kurduwadi, Pandharpur and Miraj. The NZM-VSG Express will skip DDCC, Pune, Satara, Karad, Koval, and Sangli, while the CDG-YPR Express will skip Pune and Sangli.

Train No. 22143 CSMT-BIDR Express will run via Pune, Satara, Miraj, Pandharpur, Kurduwadi and Barsi Town instead of the usual route through Solapur, skipping Daund.

Train No. 22718 SC-RJT Express will run via Solapur, Kurduwadi, Miraj, Satara and Pune, skipping Daund.

Train No. 11013 LTT-CBE Express will run via Pune, Satara, Miraj, Pandharpur, Kurduwadi and Solapur.

Train No. 11028 STR-DR Express will be diverted via Satara, Jejuri, Pune and Lonavala. It will depart Satara at 22:30 instead of 15:30, resulting in a seven-hour late start. The train will skip multiple scheduled halts, including Karad, Kavathe Mahankal, Sangli, Miraj, Pandharpur, Kurduwadi, Daund and Kedgaon, among others.

Train No. 16332 TVC-LTT Express will run via Daund, Ahilyanagar, Manmad, Igatpuri and Kalyan, skipping Pune and Lonavala, while Train No. 11014 CBE-LTT Express will follow the same diverted route and skip Pune.

For October 4, Train No. 18520 LTT-VSKP Express will run via Kalyan, Igatpuri, Manmad, Ahilyanagar and Daund, skipping Lonavala and Pune.

Train No. 22159 CSMT-MAS Express will run via Kalyan, Igatpuri, Manmad and Daund, skipping Karjat, Lonavala, Khadki, Pune and Daund.

Short termination and short origination

On October 3, Train No. 22944 INDB-DD Express will be short-terminated at Karjat, while 11302 SBC-CSMT Express will terminate at Solapur. Train No. 20495 JU-HDP Express will terminate at Karjat, with 20496 HDP-JU Express originating from Karjat at 19:40.

Train No. 17014 KZJ-HDP Express will terminate at Kurduwadi, while 12158 SUR-PUNE Express will terminate at Daund. Train Nos. 12157 PUNE-SUR and 11025 PUNE-AMI will originate from Daund.

Train No. 11422 SUR-PUNE Express will terminate at Hadapsar, while 71406 BRMT-PUNE DEMU and 22172 RKMP-PUNE Express will terminate at Daund. Train No. 12940 JP-PUNE Express will terminate at Karjat.

On October 4, Train No. 22943 DD-INDB Express will originate from Karjat at 15:40. Train No. 11301 CSMT-SBC Express will originate from Solapur.

Train No. 20496 HDP-JU Express will originate from Karjat at 19:40, while 17013 HDP-KZJ Express will originate from Kurduwadi.

Train Nos. 71410 and 71406 BRMT-PUNE DEMU will terminate at Daund. Train No. 11426 KOP-PUNE Express will terminate at Jejuri, with 11425 PUNE-KOP Express originating from Jejuri.

Train No. 20669 UBL-PUNE Express will terminate at Satara, while 20674 PUNE-KOP Express will originate from Satara.

Train Nos. 99905 and 99907 TGN-PUNE Express will terminate at Shivajinagar, while 99814 and 99824 PUNE-LNL Express will originate from Shivajinagar.

Train No. 22845 PUNE-HTE Express will originate from Daund at 11:52, 22171 PUNE-RKMP Express will originate from Daund at 16:15, 12939 PUNE-JP Express will originate from Karjat at 17:35 and 12493 MRJ-NZM Express will originate from Karjat at 11:10.

Revised departure timings

Some trains will also operate with revised departure timings.

Train No. 11077 PUNE-JAT Jhelum Express and Train No. 12129 PUNE-HWH Azad Hind Express will run at their scheduled timings on October 3, instead of the previously proposed delayed departures.

Train No. 11431 PUNE-DNR Amrit Bharat Express will depart Pune at 16:00 instead of 15:25, resulting in a 35-minute delay.

Train No. 01449 PUNE-DNR TOD Special will depart at 19:45 on October 3 instead of 15:40, a delay of 4 hours 5 minutes. On October 4, the same train will depart at 23:20 instead of 15:40, resulting in a delay of 7 hours 40 minutes.

Train No. 01923 HDP-VGLJ TOD Special on October 4 will depart Hadapsar at 21:40 instead of 19:10, with a delay of 2 hours 30 minutes.

The departure timings of Train Nos. 22159 PUNE-ERS Express and 22150 ERS-PUNE Express on October 4 have also been rescheduled. Train Nos. 12129 PUNE-HWH Azad Hind Express and 11077 PUNE-JAT Jhelum Express will also have revised departures on October 4. Passengers have been advised to check the updated timings before starting their journey.

Passengers travelling on October 3 and 4 have been advised to check the latest running status and revised schedule of their respective trains before commencing their journey through the Indian Railways enquiry portal or the official NTES App.

The changes are linked to the ongoing Pre-NI and NI works at Pune and Hadapsar yards for commissioning of the Hadapsar-Ghorpadi Third Line, scheduled during the period from September 19 to October 4, 2026.
