NIN Pune Opens Admissions For BNYS 2026-27

Pune, 8th October 2026: The National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN), under the Ministry of AYUSH, has invited applications for admission to its Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) programme for the 2026-27 academic year. The programme will be offered at NIN’s Nisarg Gram campus in Yewalewadi, Pune.

A total of 100 seats are available for the five-and-a-half-year full-time residential programme. It includes four-and-a-half years of academic and clinical training, followed by a one-year Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI).

Candidates who have completed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English from a recognised board can apply, subject to the prescribed eligibility and medical fitness requirements.

Preference will be given to candidates who have appeared for NEET-UG 2026. Any remaining seats will be filled based on Class 12 PCB merit, as per the prescribed admission procedure and reservation norms.

Online applications opened on September 29 and will remain open until October 19 at 5 pm. The provisional merit list is scheduled to be released on October 27, followed by the final merit and waiting list on October 30.

Counselling is scheduled for November 12-13 and November 18-19, while classes are expected to begin on November 30.

NIN’s Nisarg Gram campus is spread across 25 acres and includes a 250-bed naturopathy hospital, academic and research facilities, residential hostels, yoga halls and naturopathy treatment infrastructure.

According to NIN, the programme is the first BNYS course offered by a Central Government institution with affiliation to a Central University, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, New Delhi.
