Pune, 7th October 2026: Mantra Group, a real estate developer with a growing presence across residential, commercial and retail segments, today announced the appointment of Ranbir Kapoor as its Brand Ambassador, marking a new chapter in the Group’s growth journey as it enters a new phase of expansion and brand evolution.

Founded in Pune in 2007, Mantra has spent nearly two decades building its foundation in the city and growing from a first-generation entrepreneurial venture into a larger real estate group. Today, the Group has a presence across multiple markets and segments, with a portfolio that reflects its evolution from a Pune-focused developer to a business with ambitions extending across India and international markets.

Over the last few years, Mantra’s growth has also been marked by a series of significant moves. The Group has expanded into the international market through its entry into branded residences in partnership with luxury brand Jacob & Co., while its foray into Mumbai has opened up a new phase of growth through large-format development opportunities. At the same time, the Group has continued to strengthen its presence in Pune, building a broader and more differentiated portfolio across residential and luxury real estate. This evolution has also brought together a growing set of established names across design, architecture and luxury. From Ganti Associates to Manish Malhotra, whose association with Mantra’s luxury vertical Burgundy has helped shape its premium proposition, the Group has increasingly built its brand around partnerships that bring a distinct point of view to its developments.

It is against this backdrop that Mantra is bringing Ranbir Kapoor on board as the face of the brand. The association is rooted in a shared journey and a similar approach to building a distinct identity. Both Mantra and Ranbir began their respective journeys in 2007, coming from legacy backgrounds while choosing to establish identities of their own. Both have also built their journeys around versatility – Ranbir through the range of roles he has taken on, and Mantra through its evolution across design, development, markets and formats.

The association will also see Rohit Gupta, Managing Director, Mantra Group, and Ranbir Kapoor come together for a new brand film, marking a new direction in the Group’s brand communication.

Rohit Gupta, Managing Director, Mantra Group, said: “When we started Mantra in 2007, our focus was on building a strong business in Pune and earning the trust of the families we served. Over the years, that foundation has given us the confidence to think beyond individual projects and look at what we can build as a Group. Today, we are at a very different point in that journey. We have expanded into new markets, entered new categories and built relationships with some of the most recognised names across luxury, design and lifestyle. Ranbir comes at a time when we felt the brand needed a personality who could represent this evolution. There are several parallels in the journeys we have taken, from starting out in the same year to building our own identities and constantly evolving. We are delighted to have him as the face of Mantra as we enter this next phase, with several important milestones ahead.”

Ranbir Kapoor said: “What appealed to me about Mantra is that it has built its journey over time, but has also continued to evolve. There is a clear ambition to grow, explore new markets and think differently about the spaces and experiences it creates.

I also found the journey interesting because there are some parallels in how we have both built our identities over the years. Mantra has strong roots, but it is also looking ahead and creating its own space. I am happy to be part of this next chapter and look forward to what we build together.”

Turning a new leaf, Mantra Group has roped in Ranbir Kapoor as its brand ambassador. Rohit Gupta, MD of the group has featured in one of the commercials with the celebrated actor.

The association will be accompanied by one of Mantra’s largest brand and consumer campaigns to date, with the Group bringing together its portfolio under ‘The Festival of Choices’. The campaign will mark a larger celebration of Mantra’s new chapter, with a significant inventory opening across its projects and a series of benefits for consumers across Mantra and Burgundy.

For Mantra, the association with Ranbir is also a marker of what lies ahead. The Group is entering a period of expansion across new markets and micro-markets, while continuing to build its premium and luxury portfolio and entering new categories including hospitality and branded residences.

As Mantra looks ahead to the next phase, the Group’s focus remains on building on the foundation established over the last 19 years while creating new opportunities across markets, formats and experiences.
