Postmortem Confirms Natural Death Of Actor Nana Patekar, Cites Coronary Artery Blockage
Panaji, 12th October 2026: The postmortem report of veteran actor Nana Patekar, whose death has triggered an outpouring of grief across the country, has been submitted to the hospital administration by a team of doctors at Goa Medical College in Bambolim, Goa.
According to the report, the 76-year-old actor died of natural causes after suffering a severe cardiac arrest triggered by a blood clot in a coronary artery.
The medical findings state that Patekar had coronary artery disease. A clot in one of the arteries supplying blood to his heart disrupted blood flow to a large portion of the heart, resulting in a severe heart attack and subsequent cardiac arrest.
