Pune: PMC Issues Fresh guidelines About Holi, Dhulivandan Celebrations

Pune, 24 March 2021: Considering the rising number of cases in the state, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has issued fresh guidelines regarding the Holi and Dhulivandan. Both the festivals will be celebrated in the State on 28 and 29 March.

According to the guidelines, these festivals should not be celebrated in the public places like hotels, resorts, public auditorium, gardens, schools, open spaces in the housing societies, public grounds among others.

Similarly, PMC has appealed that under ‘Me Jababdar’, movement, people should also avoid to celebrate these festivals in their personal capacity too.

These guidelines are issued under the Disaster Management Act which has been imposed across the state owing to rising cases of Covid-19.
