Take Online Darshan Of ‘Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati’
Pune, 03 September, 2021: In the backdrop of Covid-19, Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati trust has decided to install the Ganesh idol for Ganeshustav in the temple premises. It also has appealed to people to take online darshan during the festival.
While addressing a press conference in Pune, the president of the trust Ashok Godse said, “like last year this year too we have decided to install the Ganesh idol in the temple premises. Using the latest technology, the devotees can take online darshan. Similarly, they can perform ‘aarti’, through video conferencing.
He said, “we are following the norms laid down by Maharashtra Government regarding the opening of the temple. Devotees will not gain an entry into the temple. Likewise, during the festival, trustees and members too will not enter the temple.
No permission for Dhol-taasha
There will be no permission for Dhol-taasha during the festival. Joint commissioner of police Ravindra Shisve said, “there will be no permission for Dhol-taasha pathaks as it attracts crowd. We are following the Covid-19 norms which underlines no gathering of the people.
21 kg prasad everyday Godse said, “the temple will be decorated with attractive lights. Everyday 21 kg sweets will be offered to God. Likewise, chemise with eight various names of Ganpati has been made which will be worn by the Ganesh idol during the festival”.
