Pune, 20th December 2022: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which recently got recognition as a national party after the Gujarat elections, has now entered the rural areas of the Pune district.

Three members of the Aam Aadmi Party have been elected in Hingangaon Gram Panchayat of Indapur Taluka. Jaya Bansode, Shankar Chormale, and Rishikesh Deokar have been elected by a good margin.

AAP’s district convenor Mukund Kirdat expressed, “People are disillusioned with the established political parties in Maharashtra, so the Aam Aadmi Party, which has an urban face, will get a good response in the rural areas as well. The efforts of its local office bearer Balasaheb Jagtap have been successful.”

He added, “AAP has received a good response in the village panchayat elections of Kavalewadi Osmanabad, Kannada Sarola village, Nagpur Kamthi village, Nilanga Rathoda village, and other areas.”
