ACER extends helping hands towards Kerala flood victims

August, 2018: Acer, one of the world’s leading PC makers has extended their helping hand towards the devastating Kerala floods in the form of relief generated from their warranty renewals. Acer has responded admirably to the crisis in Kerala and taken it as an opportunity to help the victims.

Acer will be donating a portion of every warranty registration on the website www.shopacer.co.in to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund. The funds that will be generated out of it will all be donated towards the flood victims, to provide for food, clothing and other essentials. Acer has always demonstrated the spirit of voluntary giving to help alleviate the suffering of others. The floods in Kerala are a national crisis and corporate India must play its role in the relief and rehabilitation effort.

Commenting on the current situation, Mr. Chandrahas Panigrahi, CMO and Consumer Business Head, Acer India, says, “Acer is a responsible corporate citizen and understands the plight of those affected by the recent floods in Kerala. The damage and destruction is huge and we want to help people get back to normal life as soon as they can. We hope this small initiative will be of good use, helping the ones in need”.
