Addl. CGDA Avinash Dikshit Visits Office of PCDA (Officers) Pune
Pune, 18th October 2021: Additional Controller General of Defence Accounts Avinash Dikshit, IDAS, from Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA) HQr Office, New Delhi, paid a surprise visit to office of the Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Officers), Pune and office of the Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Southern Command), Pune for review of the overall functioning of both these offices.
Dr Rajeev S Chavan, IDAS, PCDA (O) Pune extended a warm welcome to the visiting Senior IDAS Officer of HAG+ level.
The business session was started on various issues related to Electronic Data Processing Centre of Office of the PCDA (O), Pune and its operationisation, functioning and futuristic roadmap. Certain issues related to the disbursement of Pay & Allowances of Officers of Indian Army viz payment of Training Allowances to all the entitled Officers, rectification and redressal of Pay Anomalies of Vth/ VIth Pay Commission, Payment of Ration Money Allowance by publishing DO Part II orders in digital form and its payment, Availing Army Net Service and its utility and Putting Solar Panels on the rooftop for Electricity generation, Water Harvesting for water conservation and recycling, Mobile Tower on wheels for improving the communication and Structural Audit of PCDA(O) Building by COEP, Pune etc.
On this occasion, Lehana Singh, IDAS, Deputy Controller and T Satish Kumar, IDAS, Assistant Controller were also felicitated by the honoured guest Addl. CGDA Avinash Dikshit on Award of Commendation Card from GOC-in-C, Southern Command (Army Commander).
Speaking on the occasion the Chief Guest reminded the gathering of IDAS Officers that it is a nostalgic experience as he was PCDA (O) wef 15.05.2017 to 28.12.2017 holding additional extra charge thence and has fond memories to cherish with familiar faces to remember around.
He extorted the Officers to go for full automation and do systematic changes to restore the lost glory and dignity of this Office by creative thinking & innovating with IT Solutions which will tide over & curb the evils of the grievances of the Army.
Post Conference, formal discussion and interaction was held between PCDA (O) Dr Rajeev S Chavan and Addl. CGDA Avinash Dikshit in the chamber of PCDA (O). The discussion revolved around the various issues being encountered in the varied areas and different arenas of work, where the improvisation and improvement of work efficiency, work output, work ethic and work culture was decided per se.
Addl. CGDA Avinash Dikshit paid a visit to the Public Relation Office of the PCDA (O), where he inspected the work of the section as well as the process of addressing of Officer’s queries regarding Pay and Allowances which was thence followed by the Tree Plantation Ceremony in the huge open premises of Office of the PCDA (O) as a part of memory to cherish for future.
