Aditya Birla Capital Limited to list on Stock Exchanges
Pune, India, August 31, 2017: The Aditya Birla Group announced today that the listing of its financial services company, Aditya Birla Capital Limited (ABCL), is scheduled for Friday, 1st September on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange. Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairman. Aditya Birla Group, will ring the opening bell to signal the listing of ABCL. Formerly known as Aditya Birla Financial Services Limited, ABCL is the holding company of the financial services businesses of the Aditya Birla Group.
The listing of ABCL is the culmination of the composite scheme of arrangement under which Aditya Birla Nuvo Limited merged with Grasim Industries Limited, and the financial services undertaking was subsequently demerged into ABCL.
