Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital celebrates National Doctor’s Day 2018 with a tree plantation drive.

Sunday, 1st July, 2018: Marking the occasion of National Doctor’s Day on 1st July, Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital, Pune, Maharashtra’s first Joint Commission International (JCI), USA and NABH accredited Hospital organized a tree plantation drive with its doctors. National Doctor’s Day is a day celebrated in India to honor the entire medical profession, in memory of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy. It’s also a part of Aditya Birla Group’s Sustainability Campaign where tree plantation drive forms a major part of the biodiversity activities. The super-specialty healthcare facility planted more than 100 trees during the drive with its doctor. Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital also organized a special seminar with its doctors and paramedic staff to celebrate and honor their perseverance and hard work in saving lives.

Everyone knows the benefits of planting trees. It gives you cleaner air, good monsoons and no global warming. But most of us don’t get the time to go that extra mile to plant a tree. We thought that National Doctor’s Day was a perfect occasion to get all our doctors and medical staff to take that pledge and join our Sustainability campaign”, shared Ms. Rekha Dubey, CEO, Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital.
