Admiral R. Hari Kumar Inaugurates Cutting-Edge Auditorium at DIAT, Pune

Khadakwasla, 21st February 2024: Takshshila Smriti, a cutting-edge auditorium, was inaugurated on 19/02/2024 by Admiral R. Hari Kumar, Chief of the Naval Staff, at DIAT, Pune. The ceremony, attended by dignitaries including Dr. S. Christopher and Purushottam Bej, marked a significant milestone for the institute.

Key features of the auditorium include a two-way audio and video system, ensuring seamless communication for various events. Incorporating Bose technology, the auditorium guarantees crystal-clear sound and high-definition visuals, creating an immersive experience for the audience.

With a total seating capacity of 172 participants, the state-of-the-art facility is designed for conferences, seminars, workshops, and cultural events. Executed by the Chief Executive CC (R&D), West and Team, the auditorium reflects DIAT’s commitment to providing an enriched learning environment for students and faculty.

Dr. C. P. Ramanarayanan, Vice Chancellor- DIAT, expressed gratitude to CCE-W and Director, DCW&E, emphasizing that the auditorium embodies DIAT’s dedication to fostering learning, innovation, and cultural exchange. The facility is poised to enhance the overall academic experience for students.
