Advanced robotics lab at JSPM’s Tathawade Campus MoU with Tata Automation to help students adopt latest technologies
Pune 12th June, 2019: JSPM’s Rajarshee Shahu Engineering College,Tathawade Campus and Tata Automation Ltd Pune recently signed an MoU. Under this agreement advanced robotics lab has been established in Mechanical Engineering department of the college. This lab was conceptualized by Founder secretary T.J.Sawant and established under the guidance of Prof.Dr.R.K Jain was inaugurated at the hands of Dr.K.K.Agarwal President, National Assessment Institution(NBA) and Shrikrishna Karkare Chairman, Enpro Industries.
Dr Avinash Badade , HoD Mechanical Engineering informed that this lab will enable students to learn and adopt new technologies used in Robotics and Automation this initiative will help create job opportunities for students.
The Engineering college recently got autonomous status and will take inputs from experts from Tata to create new syllabus. Prof.Dr.R.K.Jain informed that, we will establish more labs and will collaborate with the top companies of India. Facility director, Ravi Sawant and Sudhir Bhillare played a key role in the establishment of this lab.
