Mumbai, 9th August 2021: Famous film director and producer Karan Johar came as a guest on the singing reality show ‘Indian Idol 12’ this week. Here, Karan also offered Arunita, Mohammad Danish and Pawandeep to sing in Dharma Productions and appreciated the rest of the contestants. During this, while praising a contestant Shanmukhpriya, Karan Johar broke his silence on trolling for the first time. Karan said that whatever he does, people troll him, all these things should not matter.

Johar said, ” Whatever I do for the last few years, I do it from my heart, whether I judge a show, host a show, or be a part of the industry in my way. I dress the way I want to, pose the way I want to, but there’s a whole world that has formed opinions about me. I used to wake up every morning and I used to read abuses online. Last year it became very bad when I got trolled.”  He further explained, “My mother is also at home, all these things had a great effect on her”.

After the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, Karan Johar was trolled a lot for promoting nepotism. During this, Karan had also distanced from social media for a few months. The director was back on social media after several months. Now on the work front, Karan is currently seen hosting ‘Bigg Boss OTT’. Which is streaming on Voot Select.
