After Arresting Suresh Raina And Guru Randhawa, Mumbai Police Says ‘Party Nahin Chalegi Till Six In The Morning’

Mumbai, 22 December 2020: Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina is seen getting caught in a new controversy. He was detained along with singer Guru Randhawa in a night curfew violation case in Mumbai, though they were later released on bail. Singer Badshah escaped during the raid.

An FIR has also been filed against them. The Mumbai Police raided a club, in which about 34 people were partying. Raina and Guru Randhawa were arrested.

According to media reports, Suzanne Khan was also among these 34 people who were found partying at Red Dragon Fly Club, which is located in Hotel Marriott near Mumbai Airport. They have all been accused of breaking the Coronavirus curfew rule.

The club was running a high profile party, which included some of Bollywood’s most famous faces besides Raina. According to media reports, Guru Randhawa, Suzanne Khan and Singer Badshah were also present in this party. According to sources in Mumbai Police, several stars escaped through the back door of the club.

The Mumbai Police has registered a case under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and relevant section of the Epidemic Act.

Raina announced his retirement from international cricket shortly after Mahendra Singh Dhoni said goodbye to international cricket on August 15 this year. Raina then left for Dubai to play for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 13th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) but returned home for personal reasons before the IPL debut.

On Monday, Uttar Pradesh released a list of 26 members for the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament which also includes Raina’s name.
