Air Vistara Eyes Pune-Dubai Route After Success of Pune-Singapore Flight
Pune, 9th January 2024: Exciting News! Following the success of the Pune-Singapore @airvistara Flight and subsequent discussions, Vistara has applied for landing rights from Pune to Dubai.
“Anticipating the same success as the PNQ-SIN route, we expect the PNQ-DXB route to be a game-changer, offering crucial and dependable international air connectivity to the west for both leisure and business travelers”, tweeted former MCCIA president Sudhir Mehta.
He expressed his optimism, stating, “This development marks a significant step towards enhancing global connectivity for Pune. The success of the Pune-Singapore route has paved the way for this strategic move, and we believe the Pune-Dubai route will be equally transformative.”
He extends a heartfelt thank you to Air Vistara CEO Vinod Kannan for considering their requests and proactively taking steps to link #Pune globally. Mehta acknowledges that the commencement of this flight is contingent upon the granting of traffic rights and the availability of slots in Pune.
“Air Vistara has demonstrated commitment by also exploring Abu Dhabi if landing rights are obtainable. On behalf of the leisure and business travelers’ community in the Pune Region, we will be formally writing to the Honorable Minister for Civil Aviation @JM_Scindia ji, Airport Authorities, and the Ministry of Civil Aviation to promptly approve Air Vistara’s request,” Mehta adds.
He further urges all citizens and public representatives to join in this request, emphasizing the swift approval of this vital flight that holds immense potential for the region’s connectivity and economic growth.
