Pune, 22 August 2021: Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar has been in the headlines for his cleanliness. On Friday, he was going to inaugurate a portable COVID care centre set up by the American India Foundation and Mastercard in Baramati. There was some garbage lying outside the centre where his car stopped. As soon as he got down from the car, Pawar’s eyes fell on the garbage and he picked up the garbage lying there and kept it in his pocket before entering the centre.

The people of Baramati and nearby places will benefit from this Covid Centre, Pawar said.

He further said that the face of Baramati has changed in the last few years. Baramati is emerging as a medical hub. The doctor should give good service. Efforts should be made to ensure that citizens of any area are not deprived of health facilities. The government intends to provide health facilities in urban areas as well as in rural areas.
