Akshata Distribution and Invitation Campaign in Pune for Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir Opening Ceremony

Pune, 29th December 2023: On the occasion of the consecration of Lord Shri Ram’s idol in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024, the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, Ayodhya, in collaboration with Pune Mahanagar Samiti, will conduct a door-to-door Akshata distribution and invitation campaign. This extensive outreach initiative aims to cover over 11 lakh homes across Pune from January 1 to 15, 2024.

A press conference was organized by Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra and Pune Mahanagar Samiti, where Prasad Lavalekar, Convener of Pune Mahanagar Samiti, Co-convenor Abhijit Barve, Vishwa Hindu Parishad Pune Minister Dhananjay Gaikwad Minister Pradeep Vaze provided details of the campaign.

Campaign Details:
– Duration: January 1 to 15, 2024
– Objective: Invite the people of Pune to the consecration ceremony of Shree Ramal in Ayodhya.
– Participants: Over 21 thousand Ramsevaks to visit homes with Akshada and invitations.

As part of the campaign, Akshata Puja will be conducted, and more than 21 thousand Ramsevaks will distribute Akshata along with invitations to residents of Pune. The invitation will include information about the temple and a photo of the temple image.

Various activities and programs are planned in Pune city, including Bhajan, Shri Ram Name Chanting, Aarti, and Rangoli, dance programs, street theatre performances, and artistic presentations. More than two thousand temples in Pune will participate in the celebrations.

On January 22, 2024, the idol of Lord Shri Ram will be enshrined by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the grand Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
