All Colleges In Maharashtra Closed Till February 15: Education Minister Uday Samant

Pune, 5th January 2021: Discussion were going on from last two days about the Maharashtra state government will take a big decision regarding colleges and exams in the backdrop of increasing number of corona patients in the state.

Today State Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant announced that all non-agricultural colleges and technical education institutes in the state will remain closed till February 15. He also announced that all the universities have decided to conduct the exams online.

It has been decided that examinations will be conducted online in all non-agricultural universities, universities, technical colleges, colleges affiliated to universities. All universities should ensure that their academic year is not wasted due to unavailability of electricity, network connectivity, students’ families or if students are affected by tax evasion. Private universities should follow the same decision,” he said.
