All domestic flights cancelled from midnight on March 24
New Delhi, March 23, 2020: In a major decisions, operations of domestic scheduled commercial airlines has been cancelled from midnight on March 24. The restrictions shall not apply to cargo flights. The decision was taken in the backdrop of rising number of Coronavirus cases in the country.
Earlier today , Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi lamented that people are not taking the lockdown in the country seriously.
In a tweet Shri Modi appealed to the people to save their family members and themselves by strictly adhering to the directions being given by the State and Central Governments.
He requested the State Governments to make people adhere to the lockdown.
