Agartala, February 15, 2021: Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has once again made a strange statement. At a BJP function in the state capital Agartala, Biplab Deb said that his party plans to form a government in the neighboring countries. Deb said that Home Minister Amit Shah has plans to form governments in Nepal and Sri Lanka.

According to NDTV news, Biplab Deb was sharing his conversation with Amit Shah. The dialogue between the two took place during the Tripura assembly elections in 2018. In this election, the BJP formed the government by defeating the Left in Tripura.

Biplab Deb said that Amit Shah, who was then BJP President, told about a plan to win in ‘foreign countries’ after winning in all the states of India during a meeting.

Biplab Deb said, ‘We were talking in the state guesthouse when Ajay Jamwal (Northeast Zonal Secretary of BJP) said that BJP had formed a government in many states. In response, Amit Shah said that now Sri Lanka and Nepal are left. We have to expand the party in Nepal and Sri Lanka and win to form the government there.

Deb praised Amit Shah’s leadership. He also said that BJP would soon change the transfer of power between Congress and the Left in Kerala and win in southern states.

Deb has often been in the limelight for making unflattering statements. Earlier in the year 2018, he said that Internet and satellite communication were also present during the Mahabharata. He was quite trolled about his statement.
