Mumbai, 3rd July 2022: In the Umesh Kolhe murder case in Amravati, Maharashtra, the local court has sent the mastermind Sheikh Irfan Sheikh Rahim to police custody till 7 July. At the same time, NIA has registered a case against the accused under various other sections including UAPA. Police have arrested seven people in this murder case.

While the post-mortem report of Umesh Kolhe has also arrived. According to the post-mortem report, Umesh’s brain nerve was cut due to the knife attack. This also became the reason for Umesh’s death. It has also been told in the report that Umesh’s respiratory tract, food pipe, and eye nerves have also been badly affected by the knife. Police said that Umesh had a five-inch wide, seven-inch-long, and five-inch deep wound on his neck.
Umesh Kolhe, a chemist by profession, was murdered on June 21 when he was returning after closing his shop. It is said that the reason behind his murder is posting on the WhatsApp group in favor of Nupur Sharma. Umesh was murdered a week before Taylor Kanhaiya was murdered in Udaipur.
