Ottawa, 21st September 2023: In the midst of deteriorating relations between India and Canada, another notorious gangster, Sukhdool Singh, known as Sukha Duneke, has been shot in Canada by unidentified assailants . He had close ties to the Khalistani terrorist Arshdeep Singh.

Sukha had earned a spot on the National Investigation Agency’s most-wanted list due to his involvement in anti-India activities from Canadian soil. He had fled from India to Canada in 2017.

In June 2023, Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar was also fatally shot in Surrey, Canada. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made a controversial statement regarding this incident, implying that the Indian government might be involved in the assassination of Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

Consequently, Canada has taken actions that have further strained diplomatic ties. The expulsion of India’s top diplomat was a significant move. In response to this statement by Prime Minister Trudeau, the Indian government summoned the Canadian High Commission and ordered the immediate departure of a high-ranking Canadian official. This official has been given a five-day notice to leave India, as a sign of India’s strong objection to the allegations made by Canada’s leadership.
