Anush, Amolika top the 400m race at TRAC-76 Inter-School Athletics Competition
Pune, 29th January 2026: Anush Deokar of the host Loyola High School, Pune team and Amolika Acharya of The Kalyani School won the titles in the 400m race for boys and girls under 19 years on the third day of the Reunion Athletics Competition (TRAC-76) Inter-School Athletics Sports Meet underway at the Loyola High School athletic track in Pashan.
Loyola High School dominated the finals of the boys’ 400m race. Anush clocked a best time of 59.61 seconds. His teammates Malhar Darekar (1:00.31 seconds) and Lavya Asrani (1:03.33 seconds) came second and third respectively.
In the girls’ category, Amolika of Kalyani School won the top spot with a time of 1:18.27 seconds, narrowly beating her teammate Snikatha Sriram (1:19.13 seconds). Navya Chhapariya finished third with a time of 1:22.61 seconds.
In the final of the 1500m run for boys under 17, Aditya Tonde of MES Bal Shikshan Mandir came first (5:07.54 seconds). In the girls’ race, Siddhi Kshirsagar of Aryan School won the top spot with a time of 6:47.90 seconds.
In the boys’ category, Anish Bhosale (Bishops Camp) came second with a time of 5:07.67 seconds and Ansh Shringre (Loyola) came third with a time of 5:09.66 seconds. In the girls’ category, Sai Shalhalkar of Aryans School came second (7:09.65 seconds) and Navya Chhapariya of The Kalyani School came third (7:38.49 seconds).
A total of nine competitions were held in the morning session. In this, St. Vincent’s HS, Camp and MES Bal Shikshan won two titles each in the boys and girls categories.
