PM Modi is in Pune to unveil the memorial of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and inaugurate Mula-Mutha river rejuvenation project. He will also dedicate RK Laxman Gallery and 140 e-buses of PMPML to the people of Pune.

PM Modi will address the rally at MIT College in Kothrud around 12 pm. Since morning, BJP supporters and people are reaching the venue in large numbers. There is heavy security at the venue.

As Congress and NCP workers have vowed to show black flags to PM Modi, police are not allowing anyone with black mask, cap etc to enter the venue. They are made to throw them in a dustbin at the entrance.

A police officer told Punekar News, “We have been given orders by our seniors to not allow anybody with black mask, cap etc to enter the venue.”

Congress and NCP workers are expected to protest at Alka Chowk.
