Mumbai, June 21, 2019 : Air Marshal Harjit Singh Arora AVSM ADC, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, South Western Air Command and Mrs Baljeet Arora, President Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional) visited Air Force Station, Madh Island on Friday. On their arrival, the dignitaries were received by Group Captain JD Mishra Station Commander, Air Force Station, Madh Island and Mrs Rukmani Mishra President AFWWA (Local).

The AOC-in-C inspected the station and reviewed its operational preparedness. He emphasized on the need of proactive approach in all spheres. Appreciating the crucial role played by the station in providing Air Defence in SWAC region, the Air Officer shared his past experience of being Air Defence Commander in two operational Commands and Director General of Air Operations. He advised air warriors to be vigilant at all times and be prepared to tackle any contingency in true spirit of “Mission Integrity & Excellence”.

Mrs Baljeet Arora interacted with all the Sanginis of the station and appreciated their selfless contribution towards the welfare of the families through various AFWWA ventures.
