Army, CRPF Bands to Perform at Pune Landmarks Ahead of Independence Day
Pune, 12th August 2026: Military and Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) bands will perform at prominent locations in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad as part of Independence Day 2026 celebrations in the run-up to August 15.
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Band performed at Bhakti Shakti Chowk in Pimpri-Chinchwad on Wednesday morning (August 12).
The CRPF Band will perform at Shaniwar Wada in Pune on Thursday (August 13) at 11 am. The Army Band will perform at the same venue on Friday (August 14) at 5:30 pm.
The performances are open to the general public, and citizens have been invited to attend and participate in the Independence Day celebrations.
The events are part of a nationwide initiative aimed at bringing the spirit of patriotism and Independence Day celebrations closer to citizens through musical performances by bands of the Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces.
The performances are expected to provide citizens an opportunity to witness military and CAPF bands and join the celebrations ahead of Independence Day 2026.
