Aurangabad Railway Station Renamed as “Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar”; New Station Code Announced as CPSN

Sambhaji Nagar, 25th October 2025: The Ministry of Railways has officially approved the renaming of Aurangabad Railway Station under the Nanded Division of South Central Railway as “Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Railway Station.”

The competent authority has sanctioned the change, and the new station code has been designated as CPSN.

As per the notification, Aurangabad Railway Station will henceforth be known as “Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Railway Station.” All official communication, signage, and systems will reflect the updated name and code.

Passengers and the general public have been advised to take note of the change for travel and booking purposes.
