Bajaj Allianz General Insurance joins hand with Pune police, to offer discount on motor insurance policies to Punekars for following traffic rules

Pune, January 2nd, 2020: Pune Traffic Police in association with Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, India’s leading private general insurance company headquartered in Pune today announced a reward for citizens who adhere to safe driving behavior in the city.

Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, in collaboration with the traffic police, has announced a special pricing on motor insurance policies for those vehicle users who have ardently followed traffic rules and regulations in the city. This is another initiative undertaken by the traffic police of Pune where they have proactively taken steps in providing an additional benefit to its citizens who are following safe driving behavior. Dr. K Venkatesham, Commissioner of Police, Pune and Mr. Tapan Singhel, MD & CEO, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance kick-started this association today with a vision to encourage more citizens to follow traffic rules and regulations, easing traffic congestions, reducing accidents and subsequently reducing traffic violations making the roads safer for the citizens of our city. Commenting on the occasion Dr. K Venkatesham, Commissioner of Police, Pune, said, “Pune is growing rapidly and is also home to one of the highest number of two-wheelers in the country amounting to an increased threat of road safety.

The police is looking at constantly improving the safety of citizens which also requires that those plying on the road follow all the traffic rules and regulations.
