Pune, March 29, 2024: Choosing between the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 and Hero Xtreme 200S 4V can be tough for riders seeking a powerful 200cc motorcycle in the Indian market. Both bikes boast a range of features, but cater to slightly different preferences.

The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 offers a liquid-cooled, 199.5cc, four-valve engine that delivers 24.5 PS of power and 18.7 Nm of torque. This translates to a sportier riding experience. In contrast, the Hero Xtreme 200S 4V features a 199.6cc, oil-cooled engine generating 19 BHP and 17.35 Nm of torque.

The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 comes with a fully-faired design, projector headlights, split seats, dual-disc brakes, a monoshock suspension, and a digital speedometer. Hero’s Xtreme 200S 4V boasts a sportier design with LED lights, a 7-step adjustable monoshock suspension, a digital speedometer with smartphone connectivity, and double-disc brakes.

The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is priced slightly higher at Rs 1.72 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes in red, grey, and white color options. The Hero Xtreme 200S 4V is a more budget-friendly option at Rs 1.41 lakh (ex-showroom) and is available in a wider range of colors.

For riders seeking a powerful, liquid-cooled engine and a fully-faired design, the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 might be the better choice. However, those looking for a more affordable option with smartphone connectivity and a slightly less aggressive design might prefer the Hero Xtreme 200S 4V.
