BANK OF MAHARASHTRA STARTED DOORSTEP BANKING SERVICES

Pune, 8 October 2020: Bank of Maharashtra (BoM), has started offering Doorstep Banking Services (DSB) at 100 centres through its 555 Branches across the country. This initiative has taken to facilitate the senior citizens and specially-abled in this time of COVID-19. This information was mentioned in a press release shared by the organisation.

The press release further states that at present, bank has started non-financial banking services through DSB which includes pick up of negotiable instruments (cheque/draft/ pay order etc.), 15G/15H forms, new cheque book requisition slips, standing instructions application forms, account statement, TDS/Form 16 certificate issuance application etc. The services will also include delivery of account statement, TDS/Form 16 certificate, non-personalized chequebook, term deposit receipt etc.

Hemant Tamta, Executive Director, Bank of Maharashtra said that DSB will provide another avenue for the customers to avail non-financial services at their doorstep. In particular, Senior Citizens & Divyang should avoid visiting branches amid Covid-19 pandemic using DSB services.
