Pune, 19th January 2023: With an area of 516.18 sq km, Pune is now the largest city in Maharashtra geographically.

Pune Metro is a mass rapid transit system consisting of two corridors, with a total length of 33.2 km. Corridor 1 connects PCMC to Swaragte, and Corridor 2 runs from Vanaz to Ramwadi. A total of 12 km section is open to the public from PCMC to Phugewadi and Vanaz to Garware College, and very soon, the remaining sections will be open to the citizens of Pune.
