Pune, 8th March 2022: Rahul Shah of Market Yard Pune, his wife Ankita Rahul Shah and their daughter Aneri Rahul Shah (11) has completed a 486 km cycle journey from Pune to (Jain) Shirpur in Malegaon taluka of Washim district of Washim, Maharashtra in four days.

Among the Jains, Shri Antrikshji Tirtha (Jain Shirpur) is famous as a very sacred, historical, very ancient and miraculous place. The cycle journey was concluded with the theme “Bharat Ki Khoj” and the three cyclists covered the entire distance with different social messages.

Ankita – Health is Wealth
Aneri – Khelo India. Stay Away from Gadgets
Rahul – Respect Soldiers. We are Proud of Indian Army.

Last year, Rahul and Ankita had completed the Ashtavinayak Cycle Yatra from Pune to Pandharpur and Ashtavinayak Cycle Yatra with different social messages and Aneri has undertaken major cycle tours from Pune to Pandharpur and From Pune to Dharampur (Gujarat) at the age of 9.

In the Pune to Antrikshji Cycle Yatra, the first stop was at Ahmednagar, the second stop was at Aurangabad, the third at Lonar and the cycle journey ended on Monday, February 28. The daily journey was approximately 115/120 km. The cyclists also visited Shirur Jain Temple, Nevasa – Pais Pillar, Nevasa – Mohiniraj, Jijamata village Sindkhed Raja as well as Jijau Srishti and the only naturally built Lonar Lake in India.

The journey, which started from Pune at 3 am on Friday, February 25, 2022, concluded on February 28, 2022, Monday, at 10 am at Sri Antrikshji Teerth. During this journey, these cyclists were not only welcomed in every village, but people were very surprised and happy as a family was cycling. Many people took the example of this family, inspired and promised to take full care of their own health.

The most important and stubborn example is that a day before this cycle yatra both the bicycles of Shah family were stolen. Managing this situation, the Shah family completed this cycle journey by taking one bicycle on a rental basis and the other two bicycles from friends.

“The journey was definitely a tough one without a rolled bicycle, but with utmost perseverance, we completed the journey”, Rahul told PunekarNews.in

Ankita added, “While exploring the Indian Culture, an important point has been highlighted in this cycle ride that women should also take time out of their daily lives to fulfill their own expectations and desires and that children should play freely in nature without getting caught up in the clutches of electronic media. One family and two women in it, this was the speciality of this cycle safari.”

Taking the example of this cycle ride, many families have shown their readiness to take part in various sports and this is an invaluable success of this cycle tour.

Every successful cycle trip is an example of perfect management. Travel planning, daily travel forecasts, destination forecasts, road forecasts, immediate planning for sudden problems, readiness to adapt to different comfortable conditions, different food and water in different areas, preparation for travel on highways, etc. The mine of many such experiences is a bicycle trip.
