Bharat@100: Mentoring Initiative For Youths, Students Has Announced Essay, Video Competition

Pune, September 18, 2020: Lions Club International along with ‘Life School’ and ‘Keep Moving Movement’ has launched pan India ‘Bharat@100’ – a mentoring initiative for youths and students. The announcement was made in a press conference held at Pune Shramik Patrakar Sangh yesterday.

Essay and video competition are organized for students and youth. Winners will be grouped according to choices and they will get the benefit of mentoring in their career they have chosen. Lions and Life school will provide them with the necessary training, mentoring, visits with role models, grooming, to become ‘leaders’ in life.

Dr Ganesh Natarajn (Executive Chairman and Founder of 5F World, a platform for Digital Start-ups), Narendra Goidani(Founder, Keep Moving Movement), Abhay Shastri(District Governor, Lions Club Pune), Raj Muchal (Project Head, Bharat@100) addressed the press conference.

Essay writing and video competition for students and youths will be on topics ‘How would they love to see Bharat when it is 100 years young?’ and ‘What is the role they would like to play in that vision?’. They can submit their answers through a one minute video of a maximum 60 seconds and send it on Whatsapp to 7741075000 Or write a 250-300 words essay and submit it at www.bharatat100.com. 14th November is the last date of submission of essay and video. Results will be announced on 26th January 2021.

Dr Ganesh Natarajan addressed conference through Zoom. He said, “We should have pride of being Indians. India needs empowered youth to become a great nation.This initiative will help students and youth to become tomorrow’s leaders. We will provide mentoring, exposure to students and yourself-sufficient efforts will make India a self sufficient and a great nation.”

Goidani said, “This initiative called ‘Bharat at 100’, organized to empower the youth of today and tomorrow. Bharat at 100 proposes to expand the vision of children, empower them, support them and give them a sense of purpose. We are inspiring the youth (14 years old to 24 years old) of our nation to set ‘their’ vision for Bharat when Bharat becomes 100 years young. That time the school students of today will be in the prime of their life.”
