Bhosari: Woman Dies Of Suicide After Her Husband Succumbed To COVID19

Bhosari, September 18, 2020: Unable to cope-up with the circumstances Godavari Khajurkar (30), resident of Phule Nagar near Bhosari died of suicide today, after her husband Gurubasappa alias Prakash Khajurkar (35) succumbed to the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) two months ago.
The incident came to light in the morning when she was found dead in her home”, said the relatives. The couple had two children – 11- year old boy and seven- year old girl. Prakash used to carry out the odd electrician work and was the sole breadwinner of the family. During his work, he got infected with COVID-19 and died of the infection two months back leaving behind the children, wife and his mother.
Unable to cope-up with the circumstances, Godavari died of suicide this morning. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena Corporator from Bhosari, Sulabha Ubale, has shown readiness to bear all the expenses of the two children while Jitendra Nanavare, a former Corporator of the area came forward and assured to bear the educational expenses of the two children.
