Patna, November 11, 2020: Election results have come out for 243 assembly seats in Bihar. After counting of votes, the situation has now become very clear and Nitish Kumar has once again got power in Bihar.
According to information available on the Election Commission website, out of 243 assembly seats in Bihar, National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has got 125 and Tejashwi Yadav-led Mahagathbandhan has got 110 seats. Talking about party wise performance, RJD has emerged as the largest party in this time elections. It is followed by BJP and JDU.
The trend has been downward since the counting of votes started on Tuesday morning. Sometimes the NDA was twenty and sometimes the Grand Alliance. But by the end, the NDA has won. NDA has secured 125 out of 243 seats in Bihar Assembly. The gap between victory and defeat in some seats in the state has been very less.
As soon as the NDA got a majority in the Bihar election results, the phase of allegations also started. The Election Commission clearly stated that they are not working under pressure from anyone. They are doing their work according to the rules. The Election Commission said that in the seats where the margin of victory and defeat is very less, then there is a possible recounting there but only according to the rule.
After crossing the majority mark in the trends of Bihar assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that Bihar has again told the world how democracy is strengthened. The PM said that every section of Bihar has expressed confidence in the basic mantra of NDA.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, “Every class of village-poor, farmer-labourers, merchant-shopkeepers of Bihar has expressed confidence in the NDA’s core mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Biswas’. I again assure every citizen of Bihar that we will continue to work with full dedication for the balanced development of every person, every region.”
