Bike Catches Fire After Collision With Pickup Van, Two Persons Dead

Amravati, January 30, 2021: Two youngsters on a two-wheeler die in an accident on the Amravati to Paratwada road on Friday evening. The heart-wrenching incident took place at Asegaon Purna in the vicinity of Asegaon Police Station. The deceased have been identified as Nivruti Deepak Solav (age 14) and Raj Anant Vaidya (age 16).

Nivruti Solav and Raj Vaidya were going to Asegaon from Talani Purna in Achalpur taluka on a two-wheeler last evening. His two-wheeler was hit by a Bolero pickup van.

After the accident, the bike suddenly caught fire. Nivruti Solv sustained burn injuries and she died on the spot while Raj Vaidya died on his way to the hospital for treatment.
