BVDU and ASOMI to organize ‘The Spring Festival’

Pune, April 15, 2022: Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University School of Performing Arts, Pune in association with ASOMI has organized a unique cultural event called ‘The Spring Festival’ to celebrate the New Year and Spring festival of Maharashtra as well as Assam. The program will be held on Sunday, April 17, between 6 and 9 pm at Bharati Vidyapeeth Educational Campus, Paud Road, Kothrud. The entry will be free of cost.

Dr. Shivajirao Kadam, Chancellor, BVDU and Vijaymala Kadam, President, School Committee, Bharati Vidyapeeth will be the Guests of Honour while Dr. Vishwajit Kadam, Secretary, Bharati Vidyapeeth and Pro-Vice Chancellor, BVDU will be the Chief Guest at the program.

The event will have a confluence of food, tourism and folk art of the two states. There will folk music and dance performances by professional artists from Assam and also by students of BVDU, School of Performing Arts. Punekars will be able to see various works of art under one roof and also get to enjoy the Assamese Food along with Handicraft exhibits and Tourism expo.
