CBSE Announces Class 10 and 12 Exam Results: Pass Percentage At 88.39%

New Delhi, 13th May 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially declared the results for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. This year, the pass percentage for Class 12 students is 88.39%, marking a slight increase of 0.41% compared to last year. A total of 16,927,94 students appeared for the exams, out of which 14,96,307 students passed.

The Vijayawada division has topped the results with a pass percentage of 99.60%. Students can check their results on the official CBSE website or via SMS.

The CBSE exams for Class 10 and Class 12 were conducted from 15th February to 4th April 2025. The results were announced on 13th May 2025. This year, 88.39% of students successfully cleared their exams, an improvement of 0.41% from last year, where the pass percentage stood at 87.98%. A total of 17,04,367 students had registered for the exams, with 16,92,794 appearing for the tests.

To view their results, students can visit the official CBSE website (cbse.gov.in) and click on the ‘Results’ tab. Then, select either Class 10 or Class 12, enter the required details such as roll number, school number, admit card ID, and birth date, and click on the ‘Submit’ button to view the results. Students can also download the PDF file of their results for future reference.

For students without internet access, CBSE has provided an SMS and IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) option to check results. To get results via SMS, students can send their roll number to the prescribed number. For IVRS, they can call 24300699 (for landlines and mobiles). For Delhi, students need to use the STD code 011. After following the automated prompts, students can enter their roll number, school number, and birth date to hear their marks and overall results.
