CBSE Announces CTET December 2023 Examination; Online Applications to Begin Soon
New Delhi, October 5, 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in the December session, and an official notification is expected to be released shortly. Alongside the notification, CBSE will announce the crucial application dates for aspiring candidates to participate in this highly anticipated examination.
To apply for the CTET December 2023 session, candidates will need to visit the official website, ctet.nic.in, during the specified application period. In 2022, the online application process for the December session commenced on October 31 and concluded on November 24. Judging by the previous year’s pattern, it is anticipated that the online application process for CTET December 2023 will commence towards the end of October 2023.
Prospective candidates should be aware that applications for the CTET examination can only be submitted online, and no other mode of application will be accepted. Additionally, candidates will be required to pay the prescribed application fee when applying for the CTET December 2023 exam. The application fee varies based on whether a candidate opts for a single paper or both papers.
For General, OBC, and EWS category candidates, the application fee for a single exam paper is Rs 1000, while for both papers, it is Rs 1200. Furthermore, SC/ST category candidates are also eligible to apply, with an application fee of Rs 500 for a single paper and Rs 600 for both papers.
