CBSE Board Exams 2026: Class 10 and 12 Exams Scheduled on March 3 Rescheduled
New Delhi, 30th December 2025: In an important update for students appearing for the Central Board of Secondary Education board examinations, the CBSE has revised the exam dates for certain Class 10 and Class 12 papers that were earlier scheduled for March 3, 2026. The revised dates were announced through an official notification issued on the CBSE website, cbse.gov.in.
According to the notification, the Class 10 examinations scheduled for March 3, 2026, will now be held on March 11, 2026. Similarly, the Class 12 examination that was to be conducted on March 3 has been rescheduled to April 10, 2026. On March 3, Class 10 students were to appear for papers including Tibetan, German, National Cadet Corps, Bhoti, Limboo, Lepcha, and Carnatic Music (Vocal), while Class 12 students had the Legal Studies examination on the same day.
The board clarified that there is no change in the schedule of examinations planned on other dates. All remaining papers for both Class 10 and Class 12 will be conducted as per the original date sheet.
As per the revised timetable, the examinations will be conducted in a single shift. Most papers will be held from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm, while some subjects will have a shorter duration, with exams scheduled from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm.
Students and parents have been advised to check the official CBSE website regularly for updates and to plan their preparation according to the revised examination dates.
