New Delhi, 11th January 2023: After the CBSE added new topics to its curriculum for classes 9th and 11th, the Board has recently developed a new policy, allowing class 10th students to use any of the newly-introduced subjects’ marks in the “Best of 5” if they are dissatisfied with their performance in other subjects. A board representative stated that the goal of the new policy is to assist students applying to junior colleges across the country.

He continued by saying that at least one language must be included in the “Best of 5,” and that Math and Science can be substituted with one of the recently added disciplines in place of one of those subjects.
