Central Pollution Control Board requires Research Associates, Consultants

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) located at New Delhi has launched the National Clean Air Programme (NCAP) across the country. To facilitate the Ministry, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and the States/Union Territories in implementation of the NCAP, applications are invited in prescribed format with submission of requisite details to CPCB from suitable candidates for the following purely temporary programme based positions not later than 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the newspapers. The posts will be filled up on contract basis initially for one year only from the date of joining and may be extended on case-to-case basis depending upon the performance and as per Ministry’s requirements. The candidates will have no right to claim any regular appointment in CPCB/MoEF&CC/SPCBs.

General conditions to Apply: –

i. Only persons of Indian origin need to apply.
ii. Application should be sent in neatly hand-written or typed out in A-4 size paper in the prescribed format enclosing therewith the self-attested photo copies of the educational/technical qualifications and experience.
iii. Applications unsigned or without the name of the post applied for or incomplete in any respect or received after the last date will not be considered.
iv. Selection will be on the basis of interview. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
v. If, at any stage, it is discovered that an attempt has been made by the applicant to wilfully conceal or misrepresent the facts, the candidature of the applicant will be summarily rejected.
vi. Original documents of educational/technical qualifications and experience shall be produced by the applicant as and when required.
vii. No TA/DA will be given for appearing in the interview.
