CEO of My Car Showroom in Pune Faces Molestation Charges Following Second Complaint
Hinjawadi, 24th September 2023: The CEO of My Car Showroom is facing molestation charges following a formal complaint by a female employee. The alleged incidents occurred between April 25 and August 24, 2023, at the showroom’s location near Bhumkar Chowk, Wakad.
The 27-year-old victim filed her complaint at the Hinjawadi police station (Pimpri Chinchwad police) this past Thursday. A case has been registered against the 48-year-old CEO, who resides in Adarshnagar, Mukai Chowk, Kiwale, as well as against two other female accomplices.
According to the victim’s account, she experienced inappropriate conduct while employed at My Car Showroom. She alleges that the CEO summoned her into a private cabin using obscene gestures.
When the victim rejected these advances, the other female accomplices allegedly pressured her, stating, “Go talk to Patil sir; he will take care of you and the child, you will not have any problem.” After firmly declining, the victim claims she was conspired against, defamed, and ultimately terminated from her employment.
This is the second such complaint against the CEO. In late July, another female employee filed a similar complaint at the Hinjawadi police station, also resulting in a case being registered against Patil. The consecutive filing of such complaints has raised concerns and drawn public attention.
The Hinjwadi police are currently investigating both cases.
