CET Cell Opens MAH CET 2026–27 Applications for B.Ed and Three-Year LLB Programs
Pune, 9th January 2026: The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has officially launched the online application process for admissions to B.Ed (General, Special and Elective) and three-year LLB programmes for the academic year 2026–27.
Officials confirmed that interested candidates can register online through the official portal mahacet.org until January 23, 2026. The CET Cell has also uploaded the complete examination schedule, information brochure and detailed application instructions to assist applicants.
Currently, registration is open for six courses, B.Ed, three-year LLB, M.P.Ed, M.Ed, MCA and MHMCT. Authorities stated that the registration timelines for additional professional and academic courses will be announced in due course.
All MAH CET examinations will be conducted in computer-based online mode at designated examination centres across Maharashtra.

Growing Interest Among Aspirants
The CET Cell has reported a consistent increase in the number of candidates appearing for entrance examinations in recent years. In 2025, 1,16,585 aspirants registered for the B.Ed CET, while 94,506 candidates applied for the three-year LLB CET.
By comparison, B.Ed CET registrations stood at 79,984 in 2023 and 79,083 in 2024, whereas the three-year LLB CET saw 76,425 registrations in 2023 and 80,125 in 2024.
Officials attributed this upward trend to rising interest in careers related to education and legal studies across the state.
Applicants have been urged to thoroughly review the official information brochure and complete their registration well ahead of the deadline to avoid last-minute technical difficulties.
