India, 28th August 2023: A recent update on the Chandrayaan-3 mission reveals that the Pragyan rover skillfully navigated around a sizable crater on the lunar surface. The ISRO reported that on August 27, 2023, the rover encountered a crater with a diameter of 4 meters, located just 3 meters ahead of its current position. Swift action was taken as the rover was directed to backtrack along its previous path. Consequently, the Pragyan rover is now securely progressing along a fresh trajectory, ensuring its continued safe journey.
