Change In Maratha Morcha Route In Pune – Check Details Here

Pune, 24th January 2024: Following a comprehensive discussion with activist Manoj Jarange Patil, the Pune traffic police have implemented changes in the route of the Maratha Reservation Morcha.

According to a press release issued by DCP (Traffic) Shashikant Borate, the revised morcha route will now pass through Yerwada Parnkuti Chowk, Tarkeshwar Chowk, Sadalbaba Chowk, Sangamwadi Road, Sancheti Hospital Chowk, Simla Office Chowk, Suryamukhi Duttmandir Chowk, and University Chowk, leading to Rajiv Gandhi Bridge in Aundh.

“We appeal to commuters to avoid the above route and utilize alternate roads for reaching their destinations,” urged DCP Borate.

Previously, the route included Bundgarden Road, Jahangir Chowk, RTO Chowk, and Sancheti Hospital Chowk.

As of 4.30 pm, the morcha had advanced and reached Yerwada.
