City Corporation Limited honoured with ‘Mother Teresa Award for Corporate Citizenship 2021’

Pune, March 16, 2022:  City Corporation Limited, Pune, the makers of Amanora Township has been honoured with the special ‘Mother Teresa Award for Corporate Citizenship 2021’. The award was presented by Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) at a function held at LIBA premises in Chennai. The award was accepted by Vivek Kulkarni, Vice President, City Corporation Limited. This special award is given annually by LIBA to an organization, which has made remarkable achievements in social work.

City Corporation Limited, under the Amanora Yes Foundation was selected for the award for extending a helping hand to women construction workers and domestic workers by implementing various schemes and mentoring activities during the COVID period.

Also, Amanora Yes Foundation’s Avantika program provided training in water conservation to women domestic workers and also conducted a camp for them for health check-up. The organization also conducted skill development training for the students of Suryoday Pardhi Tribal Ashram School and also provided them with employment.

In the last two years, the organization has offered a helping hand to the needy through various activities and had also distributed PPE kits and other useful items to Pune Municipal Corporation.
