CJP to launch ‘Kya Bolti Public’ tour from Sept 1, Announces Nationwide Outreach and Membership Drive After Meeting in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, 6th Aug 2026 : The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) on Thursday announced a nationwide public outreach and organisational expansion programme after concluding its two-day National Working Committee meeting in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
The party said it will launch the ‘Kya Bolti Public’ National Listening Tour from September 1, during which its leadership will travel across the country to interact directly with young people and gather public feedback. The consultations will be used to prepare a citizen-driven Youth Reform Charter focusing on education reforms, employment, institutional accountability and collaboration with civil society groups.
According to the party, the proposed education reforms aim to cover the entire spectrum from primary to higher education, while another key focus will be aligning academic curricula and vocational training with employment opportunities. The party also said it intends to advocate reforms related to institutional accountability, including concerns surrounding media credibility, the Election Commission and delays in the judicial system.
As part of its outreach programme, CJP leaders said they would also meet political parties, student organisations and civil society groups that participated in recent public movements, with an aim to build a broader platform for policy advocacy.
Alongside the national tour, the party announced a nationwide membership drive, inviting students, young professionals, workers and citizens to join the organisation. It clarified that it is not accepting public donations at present and urged people to be cautious of any appeals seeking contributions in its name. It said any future fundraising mechanism would be announced only through its official channels.
The party described the membership campaign as the organisational backbone for its upcoming national programmes and said it would periodically release state-wise membership figures and onboarding updates.
During the meeting, CJP also reiterated that it would continue functioning as an independent public pressure group rather than entering electoral politics. The organisation said that although supporters had encouraged it to contest elections, it believed that the current political environment would divert its focus from grassroots reforms.
In its resolution, the party argued that its objective was to mobilise citizens across ideological lines to press for reforms in education, employment and governance through public engagement rather than electoral participation.
The announcements were made following the conclusion of the party’s two-day National Working Committee meeting held on August 5 and 6 in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
